Yes exactly i doubt Amx 1.8.2 would crash on previous versions on HLDS but can definitely malfunction at few unknown places.. But Ultimately Like Developers have stopped supporting older things within Modules itself it renders previous builds useless.

I remember there was a long thread regarding svc_bad fix .. and there was a solution given by joaquimandrade .. A plugin actually .. why not give a try to that ? search svc_bad related posts..

By the way .. How about upcoming 1.8.3 completely drop support over older builds ? Wouldnt that be good as supporting legit game only ?

I'm am not part of the AMXX Dev Team, you would have to submit that Feature Request at bugs.alliedmods.net

HLDSUpdateTool no longer works for any games as Valve took down the content delivery servers for it... without ever announcing they did so.

All games must now be updated via SteamCMD.

Yeah I was going to say most games but I thought I read that there were still games that hadn't made the switch yet.

Yes, and I'm needling Valve over on the HLDS mailing list as it's currently impossible to install the Left 4 Dead dedicated server as they either didn't port it or didn't give us the appid of the new dedicated server binary... the one on the Steam Application IDs list doesn't actually work.
