Affects all including me and also amx_sound_play also doesnt play sound no audio

fixed.Remove all .wav files and replaced with mp3.Now working fine. i think plugin has issue with wav files

By replaced you mean you have converted all your wav files to MP3 or have you just renamed the files?

No i used my own mp3 files than the .wav files provided in zip, as they doesn't seem to work.

The WAV files are working. Maybe there is a bug. Could you try the workaround by "RaZ_HU" (~7 posts up).

Thank you so much for this, finally got my sank sounds fast D/L setup working using this work around. Before applying the fix the error log entries on my NGINX looked like this:

2019/04/14 141:48 [error] 21955#0: *3 open() "/usr/share/nginx/html/sound/misc/looney" failed (2: No such file or directory), client: xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx, server: localhost, request: "GET /sound/misc/looney HTTP/1.1", host: "51.38.65.57"

Just found my unreleased version.

Update v1.8.8: (2019.05.05)
fixed:
- Players had to wait up to SND_DELAY after map change before being able to play sounds
- Some warnings not being displayed
- Issue where downloading was not working for WAV files (due to "developer 1" fix)

Thanks karlos. The only trouble I have ever had with the plugin is the social effect! Half the user-base loves it and the other hates it. Remember the versions of this from 20 years ago before the flood control?? That was my first relief testing your port in 2012 and still now. This is the mother of all sound plugins. Thank you buddy. This plugin changed the rules of the forum. No more sound plugins!! This is it.

Anytime I try to remove plugin I get complaints. There was a time when professionals all over the world - doctors even, different religions, different tongues would all join my server, camp, and say stupid sounds. You can't tell me camping and stupid sounds isn't a sport after studying that. I'm a Sociologist. One does not need to be. Anybody off the street can see that!

The only reason I want to remove, minimize or optimize is strictly a consequence of current day user attention span or patience is at an all time low. I doubt they suddenly have somebody knocking at the door. Fastdownload is not the issue I have multiple servers load balancing for my 1 player per hour traffic! =)

I have tried various sorts of things including the obvious minimal set of sounds like 'announce/disconnect sounds only' and just 1 sound trigger for gg (good game). Sometimes I have a 'vote_sound' as a compromise just like vote_hook as that is another plugin of public interest to have control over. The only improvement if possible is to send all the files as a zip instead of piece-wise. Is that even possible? IE not send resources and send a message as to where to download or just automate it as 1 file not many. I was just checking all my drives for the source then wound up here. Seeing you are active is a treat. Would you be interested in allowing bots use the sound? That is my intention of grabbing the source currently. AI feature enhancement request as well is download optimization.

Nice little story

Downloading a zip with all sounds is possible, but extraction can only be done by the user himself. That means that the user has to unzip all files before he can hear anything. I do not know of any method to unzip files on client side.
Allowing bots to use sounds is an option that can be added (best via SND_MODE option). I blocked bots in the early days because I got so much spam from them.

Nevertheless, the sources here are free to use and modify. In case you modify it and release it then you just need to give credits.
