This is my first timer trying to use the profiler so if I come off kind of stupid about it, I apologize. I read the wiki page and set the options correctly in the plugin_settings.cfg file. If I set the "profile" option to anything higher than 1 it crashes on load. There is some lines of text but it goes too fast so I cannot read it. It does however create a MDUMP file which I am hoping contains the error messages. I am not sure it if is my plugin causing it or a problem with the profiler itself, so I am hoping that you guys that have much more experience can lend me a hand. I've attached the MDUMP file below.
On a side note, which version of Visual Studio would be used to read the MDUMP files? I have very little experience with VS and only used it for a short while to create a small program in C#.

Would I have to compile SM myself in order to use this fix?

No, the idea is that by ccing yourself you know when the patch is checked in and you can test the next snapshot.
