I cant get sourcemod working with a csp server! I set it up correctly (the same as with css), but it gives me an errormessage:

Quote:
meta list
-Id- Name Version Author Status
[01] - - - FAIL
meta retry 01
Error reloading plugin: Could not find interface: PlayerInfoManager002
Will there be support for cspromod since I do not want to give all of my admins rcon access? (I have 4 servers and to much admins, it's uncontrollable right now...)

Short answer: No, because CSP sucks for 1000+ reasons.
Long answer: http://www.bailopan.net/blog/?p=22

Medium answer: CSP decided to remove the interface used by plugins like SourceMod to gain access to the server. Why, we don't know. We could hack around it, but we won't, because CSP doesn't have enough popularity to warrant us going through that much effort. We suggest complaining to the CSP dev team and telling them to add the interface back.

Thanks for your reply & advice. I am not helped with it; but I'll try to contact the cspromod-devteam. Probably they find the interface to large for adding to the download?

If I got some news I'll keep you up2date

I doubt the interface adds more than 300KB, maximum, to the download. I'd be surprised if it adds 100KB. That's definately not the reason. Every other mod has it, including INS, Hidden, SourceForts, etc.

There is no reason to remove the interface except for an attempt to block plugins. It adds probably 20KB of code (if that) which is nothing compared to lots of unnecessary things also in the SDK. This development team has seemingly abandoned their mod in addition to their community, so the fact that they abandoned third party developers is not surprising.

If the mod gets popular we will reverse engineer it, but after a month it has virtually no usage.

Probably they will block mods like WC3, CSDM, ... to keep the "pro"-level & name that they have or wanted to have. That's the only reason I can imagine...

Thanks for your replies. I will try to contact the developers (however, probably they won't answer...)

Ultimately, that mod is begging to be sued by VALVe anyways...
