Is there anyway to test how many people a server can hold without actually getting people. I want to try to fit a few servers onto a machine but I don't know how many slots I can do without issues

My best guess would be a bot. AKA. Fake client.

Thats very true indeed, but it gives a good insight into what the machine is capable of handling

I recently made an experience here:

Bring your machines CPU to itīs limit with only bots connected to your servers.
When you hit it, calculate the bots x2 and you should have a pretty good idea for the max number of players you can savely handle without performance issues. (This was valid for me @ 128 tick)

It's a good method but you still need to test the network, especially if you're using 128 tick.

Ye but networks is literally nothing. If you have 250Mbit you should be good to go all the way.

I wouldn't say "nothing", a good network is key.

Thats absolutely right. Asuming that his network connection is stabil, 250Mbit are more than enough bandwitdh for a single root with many gameserver instances.
