I used to run an eventscript which would have the server send a chat reply to given chat commands.

Example: type !url in chat and the plugin would reply with http://blah-blah.com

The chat triggers were defined in a config file along with the responses.

Any chance someone could make a plugin that fulfils these requirements?

Can nobody see the usefulnesss of this?

Example someone types in chat: "how do I change my name?
Admin types '!name' in chat and the plugin responds : "You need to change your name in Steam Friends settings"

Someone types in chat "how do I defuse the bomb?"
Admin types '!defuse" in chat and the plugin responds : "Bomb defusal: Press the use key : the default use key is E"
However the admin could (if he wanted to) define his command to be "!bomb" and his response to be "OMG the n00b doesn't even know how to defuse. rofl"

Would be great to have this feature running in TF2 since Evenstscripts doesn't currently run on the ORangeBox install.

Yes, and a while back I made something for a request exactly like this. Someone had switched to SourceMod and needed this. So, I created it: EventInfo
