This works better than i thought. what happens if someone unwanted has your tag on though? a simple changename? kick? sorry i just did not see the punishment in the first post

STEAM is the system account identifier that each player was given when they first registered there game.

Not sure this Clan tag system will work for you since it relies on the Steam System to track the players that are on your server.

I have never ran a NON steam server. Could you tell me how the players are tracked on your server?

in non steam server...when ever a player joins its ip also appears...but as the ip is dynamic so it changes daily...so the ip does not play a vital role in tracing clients on non steam server ...i have given the vip privileges to my clan members so it's knda registration for them....but some losers uses my clan tag too ..i want to prevent this from happening...in order to do so i came across to your plugin but i don't know how it'll work...so you tel how it gonna?

It won't work unless you run a STEAM server, where all of your players have steam accounts.

There is this progam called "Steam" where we all have "accounts" which allows us to play Valve games (Counter-Strike, Day of Defeat, Half-Life, etc.).
