Hi all well this is my first plugin so bear with me lol.
I was looking for a jetpack for this other thing i am working on right now and came across this was unfinished so i grab it and got it to work.
    I got it from here
    https://forums.alliedmods.net/showthread.php?p=1610286

The model that came with it came from here
    http://www.gamebanana.com/skins/71944

myself i didn't care for the bubble on the head so i made one with out it to,

I made a couple of small vid's of them both. here are the links to see them working.
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SXr_1rG9OMY
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vVVVlQ_hS8M

and this one will show you what hat to use for what one.
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wj5-xSYormY

    here are the convars

    Enable, ConVar = (thefury_toggle) 1, Enable/Disable

BurnEnemy, ConVar = (thefury_burn) 1, Burn enemy when hit Jet Pack's flame

BurnEnemy2, ConVar = (thefury_explode) 1, Fury will explode when you die

JetPackUp, ConVar = (thefury_up_mag) Up velocity magnification

JetPackUpward, ConVar = (thefury_upward_mag) Uward velocity magnification

JetPackFall, ConVar = (thefury_fall_mag) Fall velocity magnification

JetPackFrwd, ConVar = (thefury_frwd_mag) Forward velocity magnification

server cvar for players to turn it off and on is (!jetpack)

injoy and have fun with it.

all files for both are the zip and a .dep file to injoy. this is the one that says both jetpacks furyflames.

OK all it should be ok now some of us where playing tonight on my server and we did play saxton hale and NO ERORRS at all so if you'r getting an error on your server my guess it is having some kind of conflict with one of the other plugins.

like i have said befor to other's I'm not a scripter i just like messing with things. injoy

The zip file that says both jetpacks furyflames is the one i have the jetpacks mounted to a stock pyro. for that to work you will need FlaminSarge ModelManager plugin.

It's just too bad that other players won't be able to see the jetpack on each other, due to Valve breaking serverside player attachments. Unless you used code from FlaminSarge's Model Manager to apply the model....or the same method that VS Saxton Hale uses to apply models.

Did you use either? Because if not, I'm afraid the whole custom model aspect will be a lost cause.

EDIT: Oh wait, you did use the model manager, according to the other thread. Neat.

Still, I think this would be cooler if you got rid of the need for a custom model, and changed it so that instead of the two jetpack flames on either side of the pyro, there was just one flame shooting down from the pyro's airtank.

That would make a sick pyro jetpack.

Looks very fancy, I'd love to see this on all the players.

Nice job, ravens. If you know of somebody that can bone the pyro jetpack onto the pyro model, you could use the SetCustomModel input to change the player model to the pyro model + jetpack.

Also, RMF mod has the afterburner plugin, which is basically this :/ But RMF is outdated and only sorta-modular. abrandnewday: that would be RMF, the single-back-flame one that uses his pyro tank.

    Noob Question.

How would i make it so that it uses a custom model and automatically applys it to the char when joining server. I know theres Model Manager from the above posts, but when i used that it decided to delete the entire pyro.... and just leave the jetpack. Hope you guys can help me

well it uses a hat but if i'm right you can't use the model manager for that i think. as flamin said all one needs to do is bone it to a pyro model then it would work that way but i'm new at alot of this lol so as he said if you know someone that can use a model program say like Blender you be good to go.

I know a few who can use blender, is it just attaching the jetack model to the pyro model and adding combining the textures together?
