AdvancedTag v1 BETA 2


Description:
This plugin attempts to emulate the good old days of tag in the school yard. It has four (4) modes:
  1. Regular-Tag,
    • In Regular tag it is simply, someone is IT, and they tag other people. When tagged you become IT, and run faster in order to tag others.
  2. Freeze-Tag,
    • In Freeze-Tag there is a Terrorist and a Counter-Terrorist IT. They freeze members of the opposite team, while people who are not IT unfreeze teammates. Freeze the entire other team to win.
  3. Tag-Out
    • This mode is incomplete and will be explained when finished in later versions.
  4. Conquer!
    • In this mdoe your team tries to conquer the other. When you "tag" another player, they are switched to your team, and then fight for you. Control all players on the other team to win!
CVARs:
  • tag_on (1)
    • DO NOT use this cvar directly, use the amx_tag command.
  • tag_mode (1)
    • DO NOT use this cvar directly, use the amx_tagmode command.
  • tag_weapons (0)
    • 0 = Only Knife
    • 1 = Single Gun, determined by tag_usable_weapon
    • 2 = Random Guns
    • 3 = Any Buyable Weapon
  • tag_allow_nades (1)
    • 0 is no, 1 is yes, even if tag_weapons is '0'
  • tag_usable_weapon (3)
    • weapon ID of usable gun, (only if tag_weapons is '1')
    • for a list of valid ID numbers, look a the top of the source code file.
  • tag_min_players (1)
    • Minimum number of players required in server to start plugin.
  • tag_damage (0)
    • Damage you must do to someone before they are considered 'tagged', if '0' you must kill them
  • tag_tagbacks (0)
    • Can you tag the person back that just tagged you? 1= yes, 0 = no. (Really only for Regular-Tag)
Admin Commands:
  • amx_tag <no arguments>
    • Toggles on and off the plugin.
  • amx_tagmode <0|1|2|3>
    • 0 = Regular-Tag
    • 1 = Freeze-Tag
    • 2 = Tag-Out (COMING SOON!)
    • 3 = Conquer!
  • amx_tagrestart <0|1>
    • 0 = restart round
    • 1 = restart scores, and round
Note: All admin commands require the ADMIN_CVAR flag (flag 'g')

Client Commands:
  • score (in chat)
    • displays the score, the team scores on the score board will be wrong.
->I have tested the regular tag mode and it seems to be in working order.
->I have tested the freeze tag mode and it seems to work, however I never had the chance to test the unfreezing aspect of it, could get enough people.
->I have NOT tested the Conquer mode, except minimally in the ALPHA stages. Please give me some feed back on this.

Sound exactly like ghw_chronics tag mod.

Unless these are added:
Conquer
and
Tag-Out i think those are different.

well what i asked him to do was make scout freeze tag instead of just knife... but then he makes advanced tag... and its complicated and its not working correctly. so idk what to do.

lol whats not working? please run it with AMXX debug mode enabled so any errors can be pulled from logs and posted.

Does beta 2 include fixes for the other two modes?
Because I tested this, and sorry to say but it is the worst tag mod ever.
It did not work properly.
I could kill the "it" player if he was on the other team.
GHW_Chronic's tag mod was better than this, but I guess I expected too much from a newer version of an old mod.

which is why i did a BETA release I have no way to test this on my own. I have no access to any server I can get other people to join. I was hoping it would sit in new submissions until I could release full version. I was hoping people would test, return errors and I could fix them. And yes I did fix some stuff on the first two things.

Hey man, thanks for the great mode but I can't play it with podbot mm cs 1.6 for some reason, it says that there are not enough players. Why won't it count podbot as players too? I changed the tag_min_players 2 to 1 so it will count me but it won't change O_o||.... Any ideas?
