The latest TF2 update broke this. Anyone smart enough to know how to compile this for linux want to hook us up? It might just need a recompile against updated libraries.

Can someone please tell me how to get this plugin working on my HL2M server that has RP installed on it? Its using Linux. Please help me out. Thanks.

I cannot get it working on my CSS Linux server. It causes my CPU usage to spike to 85% and above. I have renamed the file with the i486 extension, i've created the VDF and made sure it was pointed to the right directory, and i've tried loading it with metaplugins.ini. I have the newly compiled TF2 version running on the same dedicated server and it is running without this issue. Any ideas?

EDIT: I disabled Zombie Mod (the latest from zombiemod.com) and it works without any problems. I read the posts from cold fyre stating he was going to incorporate this into ZMOD. I realize I should ask him, but does anyone know if this was done or if there is any fix for the sv_pure problem this creates? Thanks!

Just upload Dosprotect dir. In the Metamod dir, so it looks like this , in the Metamod folder, ?? Am i doing this right here folks ???

Just drop the main dosprotect folder into your addons folder. Then go into your metamod folder, open metaplugins.ini inside a text editor and add:

addons/dosprotect/bin/dosprotect_mm

For those who need this to work on Linux, I could load it by doing this:

In the left4dead2/bin directory:

copy libvstdlib.so to vstdlib_i486.so
copy libtier0.so tier0_i486.so

Copy this file: http://forums.alliedmods.net/showpos...5&postcount=24 to addons/metamod

Open addons/metamod/metaplugins.ini

Add the line:

addons/metamod/dosprotect_mm.so

If you want to load it straight away type:

meta load addons/metamod/dosprotect_mm.so

And it should load up:

23:47:38 [-] DoS Attack Protect - Enable
         Plugin "DoS Protect" loaded with id 5.

Valve changed the names of the shared library's so that's why it doesn't load, just make copies to the old names and it works, perhaps somebody could change the filenames in the source code.
