So I have tried to get this working on 2 servers. A retake and a comp server. Both Server crash with this plugin installed and the sever doesn't start till I reboot. There is nothing in the logs that point to this plugin.

Can you post the list of extensions running on your server? It sounds to me like something is outdated, Probably PTAH.

This would require another status rewrite which I don't currently have time to do, as when you run the status command via rcon you are effectively running the command as the server console which has a different status layout.

I have some users on my server who claim that some cheats will warn the user when someone is spectating them, making plugins like this useless. Is this true?

This plugin is supposed to stop that from happening. The cheater will not see if an admin is spectating them, but still show for normal users as to ensure nothing seems out of the ordinary.

So real hacks won't tell the cheater a stealth admin is spectating them?
