What does that have to do with SMRCon?

It dont work in TF2. I dragged and dropped the the extension dlls into my extensions folder and sm cant find it.

And why do you say TF2 is supported but theres no dll for it?

Because TF2 will load the "ep2v" file just fine if a "tf2" one doesn't exist, which is why you see it in that message.

The file not found message is probably referring to the gamedata file. That said, I'm not sure if the gamedata file is still up to date for TF2 or not.

As far I know missing or outdated gamedata files result in a different error. This one doesn't specify a file or type in particular.

I don't doubt some update broke something with it. Valve constantly tweaking things multiple times a week some weeks and sometimes multiple in a day.

It is definitely the gamedata file. I suggest trusting the author of the code's hypothesis, and if you don't, trust the actual code.

I wasn't doubting him(as stated in the 2nd half of that post). I just dont know why sourcemod has various error message for the same thing. Any other time error message for game data files are dead on specific. I'm curious why an error message was written so unintuitively in the first place. Saying 'A' file can't be found isn't very helpful. This one doesn't even say what kind of file let alone the file name that anyone should expect from a standard file error message.

Any guesstimate on when a game date update will be available?

The error is that the gamedata file is missing, not that it's outdated.

Well that's strange, because I have the smrcon.txt file it came with in the gamedata folder. Does it require any other game data files not released in the .zip?

Nvm, blocking all inbound TCP traffic to sourceDS in firewall does a fine job.
