Hey all,

I'm trying to run a server for an old Dota 2 build - specifically september 2014. It runs, but it doesnt connect to the game coordinator or bind the port. I think something changed in the way dota works sometime between sept - nov 2014. The dota 2 dedicated server thread has attached srcds_linux and dedicated.so. I believe that this is where the problem is, and that that version of dedicated.so and srcds_linux is incompatible with the sept 2014 dota build. How can I get the sept 2014 versions of dedicated.so and srcds_linux? I've looked at hl2sdk-dota, and tried messing around with the linux_sdk there to run the makefiles, but it refrences a lot of things that are not present in hl2sdk-dota so that hasn't worked. There is also a folder called dedicated_main that may be of help but I wouldnt know how to compile that. And no, I'm not trying to do anything illegal or cheat steam/valve. I downloaded the 2014 build off of the steam depots.
