About the Mod
  • +Attack2 Makes you fly
  • +Attack Makes you stop fly
  • Q / A Makes you cast Kadabra Spell and insta kill someone
  • W / Z Makes you cast Obscuro and make your enemy blind
  • E Gives you a Shield Force that is immune to all Spells
  • R Gives you an Invisibility Cloak
  • F Makes you Teleport to a random SpawnPoint
  • M toggles Music On/Off
  • N Music Volume menu
  • G Change Keyboard type (So the HUD displays the right keys if the client is running an Azert keyboard)

Everything is configurable, delays, durations, etc. Just open harrypotter.ini for more information

DeathMatch, 1 vs All, the fun doesn't stop!

It's not possible to know what key is being pressed. You probably need to clarify that it's actually being triggered by the "drop" and "impulse 100 (flashlight)" commands which are the default binds.

Well, i thought about it and it's not a coincidence i chose Q W E R for the spells. Flashlight and drop cmds are just locked btw.
Nowadays everyone use Qwerty keyboards, in my point of view is pointless to make it harder for the player to understand what the keys are if i go by cmd name. Plus Q W E R are keys that players never bind other commands because they are important keys for the game itself.
I could change the thread and plugin HUD but i think it's pointless. It's 2023, supporting other keyboard type that isn't qwerty is quite pointless and just more confusing to the players that have no idea what lastinv command is.


Edit:
I believe this new feature is the best option to use. After all the M, G, E, R are the same on all keyboards, from the used keys just A Z and Q W are different.

Sorry for the double post but the old versions had a bug that i didn't noticed and didn't tested by distraction so i must notify the users to download the current version instead in order to run the gameplay properly.

Nice work, would like to try it out but since i've been using rehlds, i and some others as well won't be able to use it because orpheu which infinite round requires is not compatible with rehlds. If you also make a multi-language support for the mod, it'd be superior

You can easily remove it on plugin_cfg since i don't use the API but only a cvar to block all type of round ends. Then you have several ways to block yourself the end of the round, i don't support them because infinite round is the best tool to do it.

I could do it and i may do it in the future since i will add some messages. But for now it's ok. And it is not superior to have ML support, it's just a really small tool that not even 1% of the players use nowadays. It's 2023, in my opinion it's anti-educational that games (any games) support any language that is not english. But.. I know that there are some countries where people don't want to learn english so i may add it if i add text enough to be worth of having.
