Hi, we had many problems with errors in some maps with custom particles:

Attempted to precache unknown particle system "...."
Attempted to precache unknown particle system "...."
Attempted to precache unknown particle system "...."
....etc

These errors were pilling up and hung on the server even after map change, even after clients reconnected. We tried really everything what we found on internet.....alliemodders, valve webpages, interlopers.net, making vpk files in custom folder, really nothing worked. Although particles worked in game, after changed few maps with custom particles there were very loooong list of errors in the client's console everytime any client connected. Thus we had to remove completely info_particle_system entities from origin maps. Nothing else solution worked unfortunately. I want to ask, is this that solution for above mentioned errors? And is there any version of this for CSS dedicated server on linux? Many many thanks if someone can help.

Just use Komashchenko's ParticleFix instead: https://github.com/komashchenko/ParticleFix. It isn't a SourceMod plugin, but rather a Valve Server Plugin (so it has a different installation location, being the same directory that you installed Metamod and SourceMod), and it has all the benefits that SHUFEN's SourceMod plugin has. However it can also load particles the first session after a client downloads a map (doesn't require them to rejoin), which SourceMod plugin particle fixes cannot do.

Komaschenko's fix is much better maybe but i see no problems anywhere and even no error logs, so it's ok already, we can close this up...
