I'm just wondering, whether there is a way of hiding certain (or all) sourcemod plugins from the public list, so that nobody (maybe except for admins) is able to see what kind of plugins your server is running.
For those, who don't understand, I am talking about the "sm plugins","sm plugins 11","sm plugins 22",... command, which everybody can use to see all sourcemod plugins running on a server.

rename all your plugins and recompile... that's the only way to confuse people...

That information being public is intentional, and not configurable.

Is there a reason why? I've seen this requested a bunch of times but never really understood why it is how it is.

For the same reason that SourceMod and SM plugins are licensed under the GPL - to encourage community and sharing.

Additionally, it allows players to have an idea of what's running on the server.

You can always roll your own builds of SM.

The exact line of code you'd want to comment out is here: https://mxr.alliedmods.net/sourcemod...nager.cpp#1044
