Typing 'snd_restart' in console or rejoining the server would have been sufficient.

I already stated that I had them rejoin the server and restarted. Nothing worked.

I am having the same problem as disrupted_hunter and really hope this gets fixed. Having no music in your maps really makes everything feel so dull.

What map are you having an issue with? Post the map name/download.

Version 1.3.0 has been released

Changes:
  • Added clientpreferences support for /scpitch and /scvolume
  • Changed raytrace to filter out prop_dynamic entities
    • Fixes soundscapes being blocked in certain situations, such as in the clocktown clocktower if you spawn behind the pole in the center of the room.

If possible could I have the name of the map so I can test it myself. I've had a couple of people report issues like this while I've never experienced them, so it could be a map thing.
Or maybe the way that map is using soundscape entities is triggering a bug I haven't run into.

Just to follow up on the issues I had-
The latest patch fixed my map not playing soundscapes. Don't know what the problem was, but it seems to be gone.
