Hi,
Problem I been having for a few months now.
I'm not able to wrap my mind around this, so I hope for some help here. Ok here it goes:
I'm currently running 2 x Team Fortress 2 servers on ports 27015 and 27021 and working as they
should. Also running a Killing Floor server without any problem. All 3 dedicated.
Trying to set up CS:GO on port 27016, all ports are open. Master server can find it through and with my 3 other servers via
http://api.steampowered.com. But I will not go dedicated for some reason. And the function can remind me of a listen server. sv_lan 0 is set.
Mind you that this is a Dedicated rented box from Holland with no limitations for server side configurations or blocked configurations.
Okey, here is the command I use to start it:
./srcds_run -game csgo -console -port 27016 -usercon +game_type 0 +game_mode 1 +mapgroup mg_bomb +map de_dust2 +ip xx.xxx.xx.xx / (IP address for RCON, external.)
From the console output I get this line: mode MP, dedicated No, ports 27016 SV / 27005 CL
net_start
mode MP, dedicated No, ports 27016 SV / 27007 CL
Recap:
* Rented dedicated server, and it is NOT a home server.
* All ports are open.
http://api.steampowered.com is detecting it with my other 3 servers.
* sv_lan is set to 0
* As if it is a listen server, can connect to it through in-game server browser on IP:port in favorites.
* Does not show up in Master server browser.
