Hi,

Problem I been having for a few months now.
I'm not able to wrap my mind around this, so I hope for some help here. Ok here it goes:

I'm currently running 2 x Team Fortress 2 servers on ports 27015 and 27021 and working as they
should. Also running a Killing Floor server without any problem. All 3 dedicated.

Trying to set up CS:GO on port 27016, all ports are open. Master server can find it through and with my 3 other servers via http://api.steampowered.com. But I will not go dedicated for some reason. And the function can remind me of a listen server. sv_lan 0 is set.

Mind you that this is a Dedicated rented box from Holland with no limitations for server side configurations or blocked configurations.

Okey, here is the command I use to start it:
./srcds_run -game csgo -console -port 27016 -usercon +game_type 0 +game_mode 1 +mapgroup mg_bomb +map de_dust2 +ip xx.xxx.xx.xx / (IP address for RCON, external.)

From the console output I get this line: mode MP, dedicated No, ports 27016 SV / 27005 CL

net_start
mode MP, dedicated No, ports 27016 SV / 27007 CL

Recap:
* Rented dedicated server, and it is NOT a home server.
* All ports are open. http://api.steampowered.com is detecting it with my other 3 servers.
* sv_lan is set to 0
* As if it is a listen server, can connect to it through in-game server browser on IP:port in favorites.
* Does not show up in Master server browser.

Aditional info:
CentOS 6.5
CSF Firewall

Could it be TF2 What gives that problem ?

Thanks for responding,

Both my TF2, servers are beeing run by IP+Port in the startup command. And they run fine and people are able to access it via Master server browser. After reading that post, I can also tell you that I have tried it under my 2nd IP address as well without any luck.

CS:GO not able to turn over to dedicated and will not show up in the Master server browser nor in steam.

Still not working.

EDIT: Also having a problem with CS:GO does at least in HLSW and in in-game favorites list vanish for a few seconds. In HLSW this loos like an timeout every 15-18seconds. When loaded it is completly playable without any lag. Probably not due to the issue, but if it is nomal I let it pass.

Again thanks for the info, and I now know and see the difference. I will let it run, not sure for how long. Most stuborn server I ever set up for sure. Since all others lists directly into the browsers.

Hard to find any answers, Google is a friend, sadly too many home grown servers with port and or DMZ problems, that does not help me much for sure.
