Okay, so recently i faced a issue with my Counter-Strike 1.6

Whenever i press microphone key, it's kicking me from Server and giving this error,

Voice packet unwanted samplerate (cur = 24000, want = 16000)

I saw few fixes like:

Do not use Beta Steam or Beta CS 1.6 participation.

Lower mic sample rate 24 to 16.

But non of those seems to work.

Tried on non-steam. I was able to talk with no problem. Did they updated CS recently, did i missed something?

If anyone know fix for this, i'll be very glad!

That happened after steam's update. To fix it follow these steps
1- Open steam
2- Press "Steam" button on left top corner
3- Press Setting
4- You will find "Beta participation" , Press "Change"
5- Change it to "Steam Beta Update"
6- Restart steam
7- Do what did u do in steps 1,2,3 and 4
8- Change it to "NONE- opt out..."
9-Restart ur steam again and it will download something
and it's done , i dont know if it will work for u but it worked for me
