I'm glad you mentioned that... now I know recommending that people use the 1.5.0 dev versions is the right thing to do (I was already doing it, but now I have an Official Source™)

Hey Machede.

I've been going ape over this random crashing and it wasn't because of sourcemod.

For me, scrds.exe was being just mean with the new Xmas update for TF2.

I run my server on my home pc. i5 2500k, 16 gigs RAM, Windows 7 Ultimate

So...I did some searching and found a little something to help out though I still get a crash here and there. Nothing like before.

In my server.cfg I did this.
sv_maxrate 25000
sv_minrate 2000
sv_maxupdaterate 120
sv_minupdaterate 20
sv_maxcmdrate 120
sv_mincmdrate 20
fps_max 1000


In my looping auto start Batch File I have this.

Code:
@echo off


echo Starting SRCDS server...

start  /high /wait C:\HLServer\orangebox\srcds.exe -game tf +map  achievement_engineer +maxplayers 20 +exec server.cfg  +clientport 27005  -console

start srcds_server_crash_restart

exit
By setting the server HIGH I'm telling the OS to focus only on srcds.exe and it can be unstable but
it sure does help out against those darn crashes every 5 to 10 minutes.
I also play on my server with 10 idles and up to 9 other peeps.

EDIT: I'm also using SM 3719 ..I haven't updated yet since it seems to be good so far.

I accidently made a thread about this, sorry but I downloaded the latest snapshot and it still doesn't work for me. it just doesnt load sourcemod

Did you also update Metamod Source to a 1.10 snapshot? Are you on linux or windows?
