i got some ideas about bots and finales/crescendo events.

1) please make a timer, the crescendo event starts when they are not even ready yet!

2)about they don't saying together on these events, something like the bots being teleported to the elevator on no mercy.
imagine:
the finale starts.
a message appears: "placing bots on XX place"
this place shpuld be close to the ammo pile since they get addicted to grab ammo everytime they reload, and then they get more chances to beat the map.
this place stock all 4 bots very together, so smoker pulls are going to be hard if they are not distracted.
this place can't be abandoned, if a smoker pulls them they can save the survivor but then they get teleported again.
until the tank comes the bots are able to move around the map.
when the tank dies they get teleported again.
telle me if it's too complicate.

3)for the crash course finale, make the a random human take the place of a bot to turn on the generator and then when the generator it's active change it again to the infected. i know it's not very elegant, but i think it would work.

I loved using this mod on L4D1... was a great way to practice with the infected (I sucked as a hunter!).

Just wondering if there are any plans to convert this to L4D2? That'd be absoultely fantastic!

I dont plan for an L4D2 port as of now.

The plugin is entirely map specific (save for the Safe room closer, which was fixed in L4D2).

And the L4D2 Bots are dumber than L4D bots, facing harder challenges (rolling crescendos, retrieval missions) ... which simply aren't fixable without better AI.

Yeeeeeah...

Don't get me started on the "supposed" better bot AI in that game. The amount of times they've just left me to die is absolutely insane.

Oh well, i'll keep my fingers crossed and hope.

I noticed after a while this plugin adds a lot of fake bots to the spectators one by one.
So, nobody can connect the server, because out of free slots:

I have analyzed a little this code, but unfortunately, I didn't find the line, responsible for adding fake bots.

Shame this wasn't still updated for l4d1; there are still unsolved issues, like the end of crash course (generator not auto-booting), bots getting stuck on chapter 4 Dead air, near the ammo/fire (where the alarm triggers near the saferoom) and others.

bots also love to get stuck in NM map 3 after the elevator has raised, they can't seem to find their way up the ladder. (when one would be smoked off etc)
