Hello guys,

I rented a server for SuperHero two weeks ago, and all this time i had a problem that i don't know how to solve.

There is not a map or a hour specific, but suddenly the server gets lagged. the crosshair disappears, no one can change teams because of the lag, hud messages and everything like microphone/chat messages are delayed. It's strange because people's ping doesn't change (normal, like 30 / 35 / 40, not 1000+)

Sometimes if i use amx_execall retry this bug is solved, but other times even if i turn off the server and then turn ON the problem happens again after 10 minutes.

I really don't know what to do, i'm trying to disable some plugins but i can't disable every single one, my server is full almost all the time and i need some plugins to run the server well.

I'm using SuperHero 1.2.0.14 (MYSQL)
AmxModX 1.8.1

Does anybody knows something about this bug? This happen in a totally random time/map.

The only way to go is to disable all plugins and enable them one by one to find the one causing it.

i'm trying to disable some plugins and see what happens.

i just can't disable all plugins and enabling one by one. the problem happens in a random situation, can happen in 1 hour or 1 day.

and i can't say to my players: "hey guys be patient, for a moment we will only have 2 or 3 heroes" hehe.

You could try to run the server without SH mod for a few hours and see what happens. If it doesn't, well, then it is not one of your other plugins at least. That is what I would do to start out with.

If the lag happens just after round end, it is most likely caused by mysql saving with end round save turned on. Can't really fix that.

Do you have psychostats? sometimes webstats systems are known to cause lag when they poll the server.


But it sounds like the server is waiting on mysql information, so it could also be the connection to the database.
