Hi guys

I'm sure there has been this topic around a lot but I can't seem to find the correct answer..

I have a CS:GO 1v1 Server.. and I want a maximum amount of players to join a team to be 1. So if a another player tries to join the same team it will move them to spectator or not allow them to join the team because a player is already on the team.

Yes.. I know you will say mp_limitteams 1 and mp_autoteambalance 0

I put these in the gamemode_competitive_server.cfg and in server.cfg also but it still allows more than 1 person to join a team..

If anyone can give me the solution that would be amazing

Do those cvars work when you just type them into the server's console, or use rcon? If so, then you probably just need to place them in a different config that actually works...or set up a plugin that locks the cvars to your desired values. It's not the best way to do it, but if you're desperate to get the cvars set, you could try it for now.
