Hey, so I have installed a server using this method:

for cstrike, i tried both beta and not beta.

It's on linux & ubuntu. So, after i run it, it goes up to couldn't exec banned.cfg, and when i type connect ip the server instantly crashes. Even the bars don't appear.

I have not installed metamod or anything, just pure from SteamCMD.

You are missing required parameters for hlds_run

Also, do not run the server as root

It happens again, worked earlier before on.
Here's my command line:
./hlds_run +maxplayers 12 +map de_dust2 -port 27015 -game cstrike
i tried also:
./hlds_run +maxplayers 12 +map de_dust2 -port 27015 -game cstrike -dev
