Plugin updated see first post for changelog.
(minor update)

If updating be aware of a few changes to cvar default settings.
bf2_badgepowers is now 0 (off) by default.
bf2_hud_options now includes the e flag (message above head) by default
bf2_flag_min_players has been renamed to bf2_xpminplayers and includes bomp xp points as requested


I feel the plugin is pretty stable and bug free currently so I will be getting back to work on superhero mod, meaning this is the last update for a while. However, I will keep an eye on this thread for support issues, requested updates, bugs, etc...

If or rahter when I get back to work on this, the updates I would like to make are:
- finish convertion to use the multiligual system with colored chat (this is a bit of a pain)
- go thru the code in check.inl for optimizations
- go thru the command and menu code for changes


Q: I don't know how many of you are running GunGame with this, but I was thinking should I check if gungame is running and if it is should i disable the sniper badge from giving a weapon? I think some of you would appreicate this and it would be a simple fix, though I don't know if all of you would want this and would rather have an option to get the weapon or not.

After the lastest update the nades dont seem to as strong as before did you change something? If not how can I make them stronger.

From 1.5.1 to 1.5.2 I did not change anything dealing with nade damage. Nade damage method was changed from the 1.4.1 to the 1.5 update (and I don't think this change would effect damage caused unless armor plays a factor that it didn't before).

Did you add any plugins recently that me cause a conflict with damage changes?


You can change nade damage in the ham.inl in the Ham_TakeDamage_Pre function. Calculation for amount of damage to add is the same as pre 1.5 update.

When I play there is a statistics text right in the middle of my screen is there a way to move it to the bottom left or right right above the hud? I'm talking about the "[BF2] Pts (0/15) (Private)."

//multiply .2 nade damage per level
damage += damage * expBadgeLevel * 0.2;

Yes, change the 0.2 to something higher... 0.2 = 20% extra damage per explosives badge level
