A group of people came into my server and were hacking and threatened to crash the server. They crashed it and then came back 15 minutes later and did it again. They also moved onto other servers and crashed them and then came back one last time to do it again to mine. I use the CSGO exploit fix as well as a status limiter and ddos protection :/

This is an exploit that's starting to become more popular. Here is an SM extension that should block/log & kick any player that attempts to crash the server this way.

[CMDFIX] GoD-Tony (ID: STEAM_1:1:123456 | IP: 192.168.168.1:27005) was kicked for sending a corrupt user cmd.

Edit: I've removed the binary attachment as it causes crashes and I don't have time to work on it.

Tony again with the god tier fix. Thank you so much, I'll be adding this to my servers shortly.

Edit: Didn't work, caused all clients to disconnect with this in console:

Disconnect: Corrupt user cmd.
Disconnect: Corrupt user cmd.

Thanks, I've updated the post above to remove the auto-kicking. From now on it will silently block abuse instead.

Hey! Any updates? Two of my servers on linux keeps crashing. :/
