Hello, I want to order dediсated server with this specs:

Intel i7-6700k or Intel i7 4790k
16GB DDR4 2133Mhz
240GB Intel SSD DC edition
300 mbit/s

I am planning to start 4 CSGO 128 tick servers with 20 player slots and GOTV record

Which is better Intel i7-6700k or Intel i7 4790k?
6700k has less single thread points in cpubenchmark.com then 4790k

I'm squeezing 36 players at 128 tick out of the 4790k.

I'd say go for the 4790K. Like you mentioned yourself, the 4790K has a higher single core speed when overclocked (you won't have to, but it's nice to have just in case) and CS:GO is mostly single threaded.

You can probably host 6-7 of those servers on a dedi with those specs.

Just be careful of your SSD filling up if you're going to be recording all those GOTV demos, depending how often the servers will be used. Consider moving/deleting the demo files every week or so.

You also might want to look into symlinking some of the server files, this will save you ~10GB/server.

36 players at 128 tick in a single srcds instance? Does it lag, even a little?

My server equips with E5-2670 but can only run one server (128 tick, 18 slots), if there are 18 players online, it will be a little lag, and (net_graph) sv is higher than 5 (red).

What OS are you using? Windows or Linux?

No lag, no choke! A little yellow spikes in VAR sometimes, yes. It's not noticeable at all... at 36 players the FPS drops a little, but (again) still not noticeable!
