Hum, can you say more about that sv_enablebunnyhopping ?

When was it introduced and is it efficient ?

cheers.

Was pushed when the CS:S beta went live. I am still able to flawlessly bunnyhop with it *disabled*, although I'm sure it has a velocity cap that has just been set rather high. In hind sight, it is there to probably stop the LSS people from flying from building to building

The engine is on your machine, running inside your memory space, which you have access to alter and modify.

It has already been shown before how to bypass command line switches, removals, etc. with other things. It wont make loading plugins impossible. As well as making "removed" commands work again. (Ex. the removal of test_startscript)

Will it cause the user to be VAC banned? I can't say for sure, as I'm not a developer for Valve and do not know the inner-workings of VAC but I can say that the previous things that have been done to bypass similar patches like this have not caused VAC bans.

It was introduced in the last update to CS:S and if it's disabled you can't pass 400 units/s.

A velocity of 400 still requires for a decent bhopping; they should have clamped it at 250.

I'm not going to release my detection method in light of VALVe patching it on their own. I may release it later if it appears that they bypass VALVe's method of patching.

No kidding. Was I wrong?

Here's a link to the beta, if you didn't see it. http://store.steampowered.com/news/4169/

And.. as I said earlier, it's already patched and bypassed.
Time for Valve to think of something else.

Issue is just like always valve will only patch it for their games not mods that use the hl2 or orangebox engine.
