CS 1.6 steam or non steam

I just dont know is it legal or illegal about non steam and steam cs 1.6, so I request about server making (zombie escape/ tdm)

"Non-steam" and "no-steam" servers are illegal under United States copyright law. You will not receive any help here with these servers. Further, such servers are generally loaded with security issues.

Make your server steam-only, remove dproto, and update to the latest version of the server with SteamCMD.

Just tell me, I have cs 1.6 i bought it from steam, but most of players download warzone which is non steam, so If I make a server with steam cmd will it let them connect?

Whats the difference between steamcmd servers and HLDS servers, both are legal? Does the widespreaded cs 1.6 servers use which one of those?

SteamCMD is the tool that you use to download HLDS.

No, warzone players will not be able to connect, and that's a good thing.

but bro I think that there are more warzone players then steam only for cs 1.6, and if I host a server on HLDS, will it be for steam or for non steam?

I have 100 ping always should I host it on my home (Pakistan) or I must find a hosting company?

It will only be fore steam.
