Sorry for the late reply.

Downloaded your latest one 2-3 days ago and used that, which stopped the radio player when spectating someone else on my surf server.

We do have a lot of custom plugins added on each svr, but they shouldn't really be affecting the MOTD...

We also have a TTT server which does the exact same with the radio player. You get time to move about 15 seconds before the round starts (it isn't a freeze time but the round_start gets delayed), but after the 15 seconds end and the round starts, it stops the player. Though, doesn't do it for everyone... Very weird.

Hey, No worries at all.

Can't really see many plugins that effect the MOTD, but will be hard to pinpoint with so many.

Possible viable solution is to enable logging in each plugin - if they have a cVar switch. Check which events might be potentially spawned from inside plugin X when it stops Radio.

Strange that it only effects certain players, which I'm guessing is related to a certain events getting fired.

When i have a bit of free time, i could have a look over the source code for TTT and ckSurf unless they're private, and try to work out if anything could be causing this specific issue.

Hey Caaine,

Think i know what might be causing that first problem with Dynamic.

Dynamic is trying to clear an uninitialized methodmap. That problem should be resolved moving the initialisation before the checking in file.inc (Will have it ready in next update).

Problem with the translation file related to track query - i forgot to put LANG_SERVER at the end of the format string, which will be causing that problem xD expect it fixed in the next update too.

Going to add a few more changes to the next update related to the auto-generated playlists, can read up about it here. Hoping to be ready in the next 2-3 days, but expect a bit of downtime on the internal ShoutCast database while i change the format and update it over that time period too.

Managed to release version 2.0.0.1 with a few bug fixes and additions.


Changelog:

• Fixed problem with Dynamic and trying to clear an uninitialized methodmap
• Added the missing LANG_SERVER on Track Query Disabled string formatting
• More checks done for missing playlist files and feedback to the users
• 3 playlist modes supported from the ShoutCast API, all controlled with "sm_radio_shoutcast_playlist 1/3"
• ShoutCast playlists can be forced to download with "sm_radio_force_download" - This is useful if you change the playlist type from the cVar above
• Addition: Another couple more translations added - So make sure to update your translation files
• ShoutCast Auto-Playlist downloading, if one isn't found (Make sure to reload the map after the download completes to apply changes)
• Updated to the latest SteamWorks inside the package

Managed to get 2.0.0.2 update ready after quite a few changes to the back-end PHP/SQL related to ShoutCast Mode. This 100% fixes the bug that caine reported related to Dynamic and unitialised methodmaps

Changelog:
- The problem with Dynamic and empty methodmaps is now fixed and added source to package
- Cached the console variables "sm_radio_play_type" and "sm_radio_shoutcast_custom" in OnConfigsExecuted()
This avoids conflicts or crashes with the way playlists are parsed on each map start
- Added a slight change to the ShoutCast auto-generated playlists
Potentially GeoBlocked stations are now marked with (*) - These are stations utilising Radionomy
This also adds a small change to the translation file


Think the ShoutCast PHP code should be ready to release in the near future, Once I'm happy with the way it looks (Still not satisfied about it just yet for public release. The frontend code is still lacking to say the least xD). Then anyone can request a ShoutCast API key and host it on their own.

I don't tend to head on AM much

I have a customized translation file for the radio plugin (the translate file edited basically) but the plugin's welcome message is set as the default message.

Did this recently to all of the servers I have tested the plugin on.

I have the welcome message enabled in the cfg file.

Am i messing something up here? O.o
