Yo EKS,

I think that you meant: I need more information! In that you were right :-)
Facts:
- after startingup Steam, startingup listenserver --> always OK
- second (and later) startup listenserver WITHIN 15 secs --> always Client timed out
- waiting 16 secs or more --> 90% change of a good startup of my listenserver and being able to play and BAT (and CSB menu) work GREAT!!

Questions:
1. Does this have anything to do with 'bat_authtime 15'
2. Do you recognize this?
3. Is this a port-thing?

I have this message in my BAT logfile:

09/02/2006 - 10:56:25 - Error reading the translation file, no language set when getting data

And this 116 times. How can I get rid of this error?

I'm having a similar problem... Text Strings aren't translating to "en" or any language at all.. I posted a thread with my errors.

Ive the same problem, but works fine (with hungarian and english tested), dunno why give errors.

I may have screwed something up in the file. Il fix this tomorrow, it proberbly means i either screwed the file by saving it with notepad or that the its missing a [SomeLanguage]

one problem solved. The other one:

Disconnect: Client timed out

is not because of anyones plugin. It is Steam thing. If you can solved it: perfect!
So sorry for the earlier post :-( You, nor the other disigners-of-the-future, whizzkids or mental athletes had anything to do with that.

would it be possible to add an afk kicker?

imho it's quite a common issue on a server, and a basic admin plugin should have this feature.
it should be possible to allow specting to record demo. There could be some cvar to set max spec time or disable it.
