Alright I'm biting the dust and I am running this on a 32 player server. I want to see this plugin progress so I will report some issues I'm having.
One server crash I had was on de_inferno, the T just killed 2 CT's and won the round but one of the CT's dropped a live grenade, and it went off and killed the T. This somehow caused a server crash.
Also, a suggestion to the plugin, please put chat notification if one of your grenades decapitates somebody, because players usually camp, waiting for the decapitated player, and this makes the round go on forever.
Please please please, lets fix up this plugin!

Thanks for the feedback namine. I am glad somebody is trying this out

I will look into this error in the next day or so and see if I can eradicate any crashers like this. May I ask how long were you running it for before it crashed? How many map cycles? How many players? Any bots etc. Your help is greatly appreciated.

The decap notifications sounds like a good idea. I will add this functionality in.

There were only three people, and I was running it all day. There was no bots and the map cycles every 60 minutes. I tried to recreate the crash but I was unsuccessful so it might have been another plugin. I would post the log files but nothing was recorded :/
This isn't the only plugin I am running on the server, so this might have not been the reason for the crash.

Also, another request people have been asking: They want to be able to kill people with the Grabber plugin by picking up an object and throwing it at another player, sorta like in HL2DM. And since the Wood Chipper is gimmicky, could you create a way to reward players if they put a head into it?
Another request: Making a Cvar that makes headshot just decapitate people without taking any health away. This could lead to some hilarity.

Alright I found a major issue, and I have tested it multiple times and it checks out every time. If you kill yourself at the end of a round, the server crashes. I use a bind (bind k"kill") to be specific.

Hi namine,

A few things:

* we did some testing last night and found we could crash server by admin slaying after round end. This was the only crasher I could find. Not always, but a lot - this is most likely equivalent to your kill test. I will try and repeat the tests this evening.
* I have rewritten a lot of the code and tried to simplify it. Should be a lot cleaner in the next rev.
* I have added your request for decap notifications. It will be in the next release.
* As for getting points for putting heads in the chipper, you get a point if the victim is still alive. If you throw it, you get multi points based on the distance. Killing an alive player yields double points This is already in the version you have. I am making the announcements on these events go to all players in the next revision.
* with regards to grabber killing other players when punting objects, I will look into it, but no promises! It sounds like a good idea, but might be out of scope for this plugin.
* as for decaps with no health loss, try setting the convar sm_decap_bloodloss to 0 - does that do what you want?

EDIT:
* VIP! Realised I was running mm:s 1.8.3 and sm 1.3.4 which are old. I haven't tested on these versions yet. I have now updated to mm:s 1.8.4 and sm 1.3.6 - please confirm you are running latest too....

I have just uploaded a new version: 1.1.0.1

It has a number of internal changes, and by all my tests will not crash. I consider this to be production stable.

Further details in the readme in the zip file...

Yes, the problem is fixed! Also, should it be reported that a decapitation was fatal, so the player does not think the victim is still alive?

Heh. Sounds like a decap caused by the 'world' or index 0....I should be able to just add some bounds checking and fix that - stay tuned.

Version 1.1.0.2 is up - it should resolve the 'server name as attacker' chat text issue as you have described.

As for announcing that a decap has killed a player, I consider that to be redundant information when CS:S already has the death icons in the top right corner. If there is a strong desire for it by others then I might add it, but will leave it as is for the moment.
