If the spy disguises as a person using a custom model, will they dupe the model or just look like a normal XYZ class model?

Need a repository for converted models

Disguised Spies will use the default models, not sure if there's a way to change that.

Well, I got the notification to disappear, but it still isn't working with SGA. I'm not really sure why it doesn't work, unless sm_who is lying about the account having custom group 5 access.

Maybe it'd work if it checked admin status later then it does now? Like, maybe it checks before the account is added to the list and disregards it forever after that? I'm really not sure.

Grognak: yeah, it checks on client post admin check. Unfortunately, steam group admins also does that. So if SGA goes last, then it doesn't pick it up. Fixing soon.

Hello all!

I'm trying to add the touhou models using the Model Manager and I'm having some troubles. I want the players to be able to select the model when they log on to my server. The trouble seems to be when the player selects the model, then they become invisible and the frame rate seems to slow down some when they are in view.

I started with the girl engineer model and placed it in models/custom/player/girlengie. I put all the files in that directory and then created a "engineer.mdl.dep" with a list of those files. This seems to work because a player does download this model when logging on.

I also used "mdlhexer.exe" to fix the paths in engineer.mdl, but it didn't seem to help.

Please help, does anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance!

i have the same problem like tory's but instead the models have purple checkered textures, or the model is a huge "ERROR" in-game and yes i did follow ur tutorial eraser, but i clearly don't understand step 7 in it, everything else is fine to me, and also does anyone have any domain sites for ftp upload, and redirect i can use? Because for some reason when players join my server it shows that they download my files but it doesn't show in their account's tf2 system folders, making anything custom i add to my server not work for them... :/

Hi, thanks for your response. I'll go through the tutorial again to make sure I did it right. One thing that jumps out at me right away is that I put everything in one folder, but it looks like you split things into two folders: models and materials. Should that matter? Well I'll try it again like that and see if it helps.

Thanks again.
