I know, but I'm suffering from Stockholms.

same with me necavi - the autocomplete is far superior to any other I've tried. It's dynamic autocomplete of #includes I define is the best feature.

It hardly crashes for me, but it does choke a bit on large plugins especially when switching tabs... it loses the highlighting sometimes too.

It crashes frequently for me but almost always recovers without problems, annoying as hell though. I'm really surprised nobody has made a replacement...preferably a replacement that will travel #includes properly.

Make a locally hosted test server using srcds.

I use Sublime Text 2, with sp syntax highlighting.

I write sourcemod plugins because it's a good time killer, also it's fun and it's good to learn new things now and then, it's what we human do. And when you're done you sell the plugins wich makes it profitable. Conclusion: It's fun, you'll make a profit.

I tried allot of alternatives to Pawnstudio, but none of them were satisfying me because of the lack of a good code analysis. I changed some options in Pawnstudio to reduce the crashes, it still sometimes crashes, but those are recoverable so I don't lose anything.
The sublime plugin is also quite good, but the code analysis still isn't that good like in Pawnstudio.

+ Pawnstudio supports on-the-fly FTP-uploading to a gameserver of your choice after compilation, in Sublime that's not possible without a few extra clicks.

I thought about writing a Visual Studio mod to do SourcePawn, but then I realized that to do so I'd essentially have to rewrite the entire SourcePawn parser in C#. Which is way too much work.

There was a template for VS08, it is/was linked somewhere in the wiki, but it was unavailable. Maybe someone still has it, it would be a good start.

Notepad.exe not good enough for anyone?
:/

Sometimes i use textastic on phone, as it does some highlighting.
Sourcemod is pretty easy though, so usually dont need any.

Well, the point in doing a VS language integration would be to get all the nifty variable highlighting and such that VS supports.

The problem is that the main example of language integration is their Python integration which is crazy complicated.
