Nevertheless the CPU is fried. Doesn't really matter how it got fried, it just is.

Also, I do have a speaker, which says a bib once I start the computer. If I put my fried CPU in, it will just give me a totally black screen and that is it. The same if I take all my RAM block out, or put a broken RAM stick in.

So do we even know what it does or doesnt do yet?

Drekes?
Does if give post beep? Does it sound like its booting up and starting but you just cant see anything? Have you tried each stick of ram one at a time? Yes Ive seen ram do dumber things than stuff up video to a pc.

Have you a compatible MB to try the CPU in? Did you reset the BIOS like Dragon suggested? Have you go another PSU you can try? Yes Ive seen power supplies do this too. After 22 years Ive seen PC's do most things, seen one chasing a transvestite once.

Uhm, that's because you fried it. CPUs will not randomly fry unless the motherboard shorts.

In my few years of experience anytime a powersupply screwed up none of the lights would light up on the machine. The psu fan might kick on, but it just wouldn't power the machine period.

-actually, I think I'm too tired, I've been mixing up jelle and OPs problems for the past hour in my head

I push the on button, the lights turn on and the fans start to spin, and it seems to check for a cd. but nothing else, screen doesn't go out of stand-by.

And you made sure the gpu is seated correctly? do you have any other slots in the mobo you can test the gpu in? If you've tried these and nothing works, then your mobo is most definitely screwed.

Since I have experienced that, I can't do anything but disagree with you.

I was repairing an old AMD 2400+. It just fried for no apparent reason. Stuffed a new 2800+ into it and it ran nicely again.
Once again, no beep from motherboard.
