So I sort of am revisiting TF2 servers and was fooling with AI bots once again. I see there is a few new things/cvars that seemed to be screwing with things.

I like to add some specific classes/etc to bots so want to disable:

tf_bot_spawn_use_preset_roster
tf_bot_reevaluate_class_in_spawnroom

As people are probably aware these are bot cheat commands. If I disable these with cheats on the bots are cool but once I turn cheats off these cvars revert back to on/1. This is new? I seem to recall differently. The bots start mass suicide when they are on again.

Regardless, anyway to turn these cheats cvars off in a config/etc without having to leave cheats on?

Here's what I use on my TF2 server in the server.cfg file. I don't have cheats enabled.

sm_cvar tf_bot_keep_class_after_death 1
sm_cvar tf_bot_spawn_use_preset_roster 0
