basicly i am a noob at this lol i understand everything but sv_downloadurl i know that it makes downloads faster and i really want it bc my server is wireless and its really slow downloads so could u help me to install sv_downloadurl and if i need a website help me tooo!! ty

What am I doing these days? Well, I run my own Rust server. It's heavily modded. If you'd like to join, the ip is 167.114.101.67:28116

I also created a website called Rust Tools. It will calculate and tell you the raw amounts of resources needed to craft items.

Vash - How is your server on wireless? is it based out of your house or something? (Bad idea)

sv_downloadurl specifies a website to download from (No you cant target those nice zip'd up maps on other web sites) - you normally need your own, and to create a cstrike directory - See here

Edit: Thank you - got it working.. my god thats complex.. why would anyone bother doing that when they could just put the url as is?

hmm they can't seem to help you..


sv_downloadurl "ww.yourwebsite.com/cstrike" in the cstrike folder you put all the addons pple need to download..

dont forget the quotes ""
