It seems the new mode doesn't work with reserved slots, and I would like to see this change. My server always fills up, and with matchmaking I never can join. Even kicking someone manually doesn't free up room for some reason. If possible I would like it to be where the admin can join spec while 6 other people play, so issues can be dealt with without kicking some poor guy mid wave. Though after this update I'm not sure if the player limit can be worked around.

Before this last update it worked fine, and I could join as spectator.

for me it does not, it would rather kick bots than players.

For future reference, rather than bumping old threads (> 6 months old being old), just make your own topic and you'll get all the attention.

Mvm matchmaking falls under thr same rules as quickplay, so you are not supposed to use reserved slots and tf2itrms, etc.

Why reinvent the wheel?

Tha Rules indeed don't allow you to kick players in order to make room for a reserved slot.

However, just like ChIck3n115, I have no intention of kicking anyone
The reserved slots plugin has an option to "hide" a reserved slot which would kinda solve the issue
