Any reason why?
Ive edited the prefix.cfg to include cg_ maps but it dosent work :S
Only maps in mapcycle.txt can be nominated, I think.

Paste the result of doing the CVAR portion of this in [code] tags, please.

Note, you can get a menu'd list of all the maps you can nominate by typing "nom" and then a partial map name. For instance, "nom cg_". A menu will come up with all the maps that have "cg_" in their name. It's very sexy.

You are misunderstanding how the "prefix" feature works. If you include "cg_" in prefix.cfg, all you would have to type in-game is, "coldbhop".

This is incorrect on a couple of levels. First, any file can contain the names of the maps that can be nominated, "mapcycle.txt" is just the default name. Second, you can specify that all maps in your maps folder can be nominated by setting gal_nom_mapfile to "*".

im having the same problem. "say nom cool" doesnt nominate cs_cool map.
typing cs_cool also doesnt nominate the map. the map cant be found.
not only that, it shows up a menu with 4 other "cool" maps but when i select any of them, it turned up to be some other maps. probably wrong index. i have got at least 10,000 maps.

the filename for cs_cool is all uppercased. will this affect nomination?

PM me the IP to your server.

Galileo assumes that all map names are lower case. Since "CS_COOL" is uppercase, Galileo won't find it when people attempt to nominate it.

If you'd like Galileo to take into account map names with uppercase letters (which, btw, is totally non-standard), then you can either submit a bug or a change request, depending on how you view this.

@Everyone:
I'm trying to debug the issue where Galileo doesn't restore the original value of mp_timelimit at the end of a map (evidenced by a map staying on forever with a time limit of 0). If you'd like to help me debug this, visit this page and do what I've asked there.

To my understanding, KZ servers are not round-based. Therefore, gal_endonround should be set to "0" (it's "1" by default). Please confirm whether this resolved your issue.

What kind of server was it? If it's not a round-based mod, see what see what I wrote above.

Weird... When I type any of the maps below it says map not found in database... How do I add the maps below to the "database?" And yes I have it in mapcycle.txt and I uploaded it in maps.ini but still can't figure out whats wrong.
