I don't play L4D but you can try adding
Code:
sv_skyname docks_hdr
in a map specific config. (example tf/cfg/ctf_2fort.cfg). You can also change this value in-game using sm_cvar, then type retry in console.

he wants to totally modify the weather of the map not just the sky.

I modified all the weather and lights by converting the campaign to night, but it is a private modification

I have a suggestion to add 1 more command - stripper_reload to reload map configuration files. With this command it would be possible to apply fixes without reloading maps. The results would be visible after round change.
Another suggestion is to add reading of configuration files with incomplete names:
Like this:
1) de_.cfg (for all de maps including de_dust, but apply it before de_dust.cfg)
2) de_dust.cfg (only for de_dust)

This way it would be possible to set specific configurations to all maps of specific types

How would I turn off music playing in a map?

I have a map playing music I dislike and I would like to turn it off or replace it with my own song.
Can some one tell me what to look for in the ent list to do a remove or replace?

Stripper Version 3 !

Is anyone interested in creating another version of stripper?

Here is my idea and all at the same time it would be:
Easy to develop
Give full total control over everything.
Every remove, add, or replace would work every time first time.

The new version would look for a .ent file matching the map name and do a total replace of all entities using what was in the .ent file.

To use this new version you would first do a stripper_dump then rename that file to .ent and move it into the map folder and then edit it to make the changes.

This would give easy total control over everything.
As long as your entities are valid and error free,
every add, remove and modify would work every time first time.

I have been using stripper/stripperx since about 2001 and thinking about it I would prefer to have it work this way.

Any metamod developer willing to create this?
Comments?

Hi.
Who can say what is the maximum version of the metamode with which Stripper: Source works?
And should I compile source for newer version or 1.2.2 is the latest?

Runing cs:s server on linux x32.

Spent 2 days on forums and compilers before I found that I had to download "stripper-1.2.2-git129" from here
https://www.bailopan.net/stripper/snapshots/1.2/

remove the next link from the first post!
"DOWNLOAD AT: http://www.bailopan.net/stripper/"

stripper-1.2.2 doesn't work! together with
Metamod: Source version 1.11.0-dev + 1144

@DarenArk, you are right.
But moderators can't update every forum topics up to date.

You need also look, when topic have created: 11-12-05 , 01:23 Stripper:Source (Updated 2011-04-15)
And last time edit/updated: Last edited by psychonic; 01-02-15 at 16:18. Reason: Updated source code link

Rest is up to forum users mostly, read, find.

okay. my previous post will be just for the next user like me. I hope he will notice it in time.
but why complicate things so much when you can fix the original link.

yes, my previous post was a bit harsh.
I had no idea what snapshots are, and even though I saw that link, I didn’t pay attention to it.
And it never occurred to me that the author's website might have an outdated link in installation guide.

Despite the fact that I tried to do everything according to the next guide, I had a lot of troubles.
https://wiki.alliedmods.net/Building_SourceMod#Linux
After all, I did not compile source code, but in the process of googling, I accidentally found a mention that there is a version of stripper-1.2.2-git129.

I am hosting csgo at gameservers.com on Windows.

I have this version of stripper installed there.
meta list
Listing 5 plugins:
[01] SourceMod (1.10.0.6502) by AlliedModders LLC
[02] Stripper (1.2.2) by BAILOPAN
[03] CS Tools (1.10.0.6502) by AlliedModders LLC
[04] SDK Tools (1.10.0.6502) by AlliedModders LLC
[05] SDK Hooks (1.10.0.6502) by AlliedModders LLC

stripper_dump works
but nothing in my map .cfg files work.

I have been using stripper for a long time so I know my map.cfg files have the correct syntax.
For example.

add:
{
"origin" "-292.9 3481.3 0.0"
"angles" "0.0 299.0 0.0"
"ammo" "90"
"classname" "weapon_m4a1"
}

Anyone know why 1.2.2. would run but not act on any .cfg files on Windows?
1.2.2. git129 is the last version I see here:
http://www.bailopan.net/stripper/snapshots/1.2/
