Ah yes that fixed it i wounder why it did not update the gamedata :/ I'm running "1.4.4 dev" with Auto Update turned on.

But none the less looking brilliant

Thank goodness we have Powerlord here to help us out!!

Powerlord, do you know if homemade maps need to have some special textures or entities to get the to act like sd_doomsday does for the pyro equiped with the new goggles

can it work on a custom map? any way to add it to the list of maps it works on?

The list of maps it works on is a file on the client side. I don't think the server can replace it.

Well, not without finding where in memory it stores this list anyway...

Incidentally, I'm going to do some investigating... this plugin may become obsolete thanks to my discovery of a MeetThePyro holiday when attempting to fix the Force Holidays plugin. It really depends on what activating this holiday does (I need to test it).

When you activate the holiday it will still have the same effect it currently has, only those with pyrovision weapons equipped can see the world through the pyros eyes, This plugin makes it so everyone has pyrovision regardless of the weapon you have equipped. Also i am curious if it can be done without TF2 Items.

Anyone here a map maker? Is there anyway i can put a updated mtp.cfg into a custom map so people are able to see pyroland on custom maps without every person you meet manually add the map to the file (assuming they have it)

powerlord, i use tf2items on other items, ur plugin overrides their abilities just to add pyrovision......

can't u make it so it adds pyrovision without modifying the other attributes i put on items?

Not easily. As Asherkin noted once, the first plugin to return Plugin_Changed overrides the item configuration and none of the other plugins get the opportunity to respond.

Forgive my ignorance, I'm still a bit new to all of this, but is there a difference in functionality between using this plugin and using the following in tf2items.weapons.txt?

Assuming the above worked as I think it would, wouldn't this allow others to continue using their edited items along with enabling pyrovsion for everyone?
