Revolver Control[v0.6]

Sick of the R8?
After receiving an endless number of complaints from my players, I decided to write a plugin which replaces the Revolver with a Deagle until valve decides they have made enough profit and applies a much needed nerf to the weapon.

How does the plugin work?
The plugin either increases the price of the Revolver or replaces it with a Deagle by changing the item index before the engine sets the weapon attributes (effectively a hack)

Cvars

• sm_rc_type "0" - The amount to increase price by, otherwise <= 0 to replace with Deagle

  Example 1: sm_rc_type 150 would increase the price by $150

  Example 2: sm_rc_type 0 would replace the gun with a Deagle instead.

Now where can I find one of those servers running this? Here.

Note: I have only briefly tested the Cvar, it appears to be working fine, although if you find any bugs then please let me know.

It appears that valve have nerfed the gun now.

The gun currently costs 850, however it actually only takes 700 out of the player's money.

Because there is no easy way to block them buying it. If you block the buy command it can be bypassed and it also replaces the deagle so it makes sense

Because its easier for players who have the Revolver equipped in inventory, atleast they can use the Deagle straight away instead of having to exit the server to switch loadout.

Yeah, it appears that it can also be bought in console with "buy deagle" so I can't really determine if I'm blocking a Deagle or Revolver in the CS_OnBuyCommand forward. Anyway by the time I could determine what gun the player has bought it would of already spawned which means I would have to either kill the entity or block it from being used in "SDKHook_WeaponCanUse"

To sum up, I think its more efficient just to replace than to block it.

Anyway, I have released a small update (0.4) which improves the money restore and makes it less likely to run into issues. I would say this update is optional and not critical although recommended.
