Hi,

do you know this HLČ sound "ammunition depleted" when all your ammo is empty for a certain gun? That's what my plugin adds to cstrike! Just copy the sound to sounds/misc and see...

This needs the cstrike include to check how much ammo is left in the backpack. If you know a method to check for all mods, I'd be glad to hear bout that!

UPDATE:::

This version now uses fvox, so you don't have to dl sounds anymore.

Enjoy!

Great plugin, and probably to encourage packing them into zips.

Is there any way to make it /vox/ for the speech? My server is really modded enough already, I don't want to add more sounds.

actually I thought bout using /vox/, but I don't know how to use f(emale)vox and that's what HLČ does... I did it that way since I want the original sound

I'd suggest to you and to any other plugin author reading this to not put your files in a RAR file. Instead, put them in a ZIP file. Yes, we all know RAR is better but ZIP is more widely accepted.

Also, just curious, to create the WAV, did you just record the female voice in HL2?

If you found it in the hl1 directory why did u include the file? you can just go sounds/fvox/whatever.wav as the precache and you wouldn't need a sound file I believe.

I believe Cubic is correct. Just precache the WAV in your SMA as you're currently doing. HL1 will find it without you needing to supply it.

No problem. for future reference anything in the half-life.gcf is viewable by any mod. It will check there second I believe for files if they are missing from your mod folder.
