Recreate this effect

Hello.
So, I want to recreate the effect of Nihilanth from Half Life.
I mean the laser effect.
I tried finding out in nihilanth.cpp but couldn't undertand.
Can anyone recreate that effect with chat command ?

try looking inside message_const.inc

This may be easier for you. There's a video showing all effects included in the .inc. One of them is surely going to help since they're the same from Half-Life.

Off-topic, but since you know messages so well, can you recommend me some for this? It needs to be able to have vertical velocity and to display transparent animated sprites properly. Thanks.
