Cool, the reason i dident want to do it server side was becuse i was affraid of bugs. Doing this in hl1 could generate som realy odd bugs. But il certainly try, and if i can find any bugs il add it to the 1.2 beta

Just a heads up, MySQL support is now working. And if all goes well by the end of the comming weekend. We will have a beta release that supports mysql admins/log and a simple webinterface for this..

I'm trying to run this on DoD: Source, but its not working. I feel that the installation instructions are too basic. I need complete instructions on how to install and configure my BAT. No matter what I try, it just doesn't work - I see no messages on screen every 1.5 mins, I can't access the admin menu, and it's starting to annoy me.

Any help would be appreciated.

EDIT: No wait, I think I have it.

EDIT: No, I don't - I've added my plugins to the metaplugins.ini file, but when I use the 'meta list' command, I get this:

[01] - - - NOFILE
[02] - - - NOFILE
[03] - - - NOFILE

Is it supposed to be like that? I think this is why it isn't working, or I might have installed it to the wrong folder. It's currently installed in:

C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\geodesicd\source dedicated server\dod\addons - is this the right folder?

EDIT: OK, The ForgiveTK and BAT tools are loaded - but I can't access the admin control panel. WTF?

I dont think it would have helped with bigger docs(perhaps better writen once?) as your first problems are clearly made out in the sourcemm docs.

Other then that, admins not working im guessing you skipped the step of adding admins in the users.ini file. Or for some reason added the wrong steamid ( perhaps its a lan server, and you added steamid)

A bit of bad news, my main computer crashed. So the release is gonna be delayed.

When it gets released depends on how much data i can recover or need to recode.

The Web based admin panel for EKS's BAT is just about finished

To see a demo version of it (also the version in which I am actively working on, so you'll see changes here and there in it.) go to

The Add admin and the delete admin(s) functions are working properly

The database is not linked to a server so don't worry about the entries put in, if you find an error (not involving the edit page) let me know (via a post or whatever)

TODO:
Make Edit Functions Work
Make "Check All" box work
Add Log Viewer
Pester EKS until he adds a bans table and a password field to the admin table
Create Login (on initial distribution it will come with a pre-configured .htaccess file...depending on how long eks takes restoring his data)

Smile BAT users, adding/removing/editing admins is even easier

I sure hope you are using a version control system that is online somewhere. If you need some help with this, let me know so this won't happen again to you.
