Rank reset help please(have read FAQ and searched)

when I looked over the FAQ and searched the site I came across this bit of info "amx_rcon csstats_reset 1". However it has failed to reset the ranks on my server.. below is the response I have gotten

amx_rcon csstats_reset 1
[AMXX] Command line "csstats_reset 1" sent to server console

Even after a restart of the server the ranks are still intact. Can anyone here shade some light as to why this might be? just let me know what if more info you may need.

Set the cvar then change the map

Could you please elaborate? I am a bit new at this, what cvar command?

csstats_reset is a cvar
