Every 5-10 seconds I run into errors of:

SV_StartSound: sound/weapons/flashbang-1.wav not precached (0)
SV_StartSound: sound/weapons/flashbang-1.wav not precached (0)
SV_StartSound: sound/weapons/flashbang-1.wav not precached (0)
SV_StartSound: sound/weapons/flashbang-1.wav not precached (0)
SV_StartSound: sound/weapons/flashbang-1.wav not precached (0)
SV_StartSound: sound/weapons/flashbang-1.wav not precached (0)

I don't have any plugins that block precaching of the item and the sound file exists on the server. I have even tried extra plugins that precache the sound for me with the same issue.

Any ideas?

Still in need of some help with this. I've used some precaching plugins to try to precache this sound but it continues to give this error.

I am running zombie plague 5.0.7

My solution to the problem is to use precache_sound instead of precache_generic.
P.S. You don't need to mention 'sound' dir in the path.
