Almost everyone that connects to my server gets a time out. Its almost like the mdls and stuff takes to long to download so it timeout. Is there somway i can fix this?

it all depends on how many things u added at once i think lol to much stuff theylll timeout while they r dling it

ive had a server that i had to reconnect 3 times because of this

it shouldnt time out if your in the process of downloading models/sounds

wierd becuse thats exactly what happends lol

maybe cuz people dont like downloading alot so they just leave usually people will leave after certain amount of mins of downloading things no one has patients

BUT then it would say : "client sent drop" instead of timed out

but also it could it could also mean that ur server is very laggy and u have a bad internet connection

yer, could possibly be from several people downloading at once, combined with alot of people on the server playing, might just not be able to send enough info...

but im no expert on the subject
