[Solved] Is Isolated download of server_srv.so files for symbols possible?

I haven't found any discussion related to downloading just the server_srv.so file from the steam depots.
Is this possible by any stretch?
As a Windows user with no other machines, I can only run Windows dedicated servers temporarily just for my own plugin-making.
Downloading the entire Linux server just for server_srv.so tends to get storage and bandwidth intensive.

Sure; it's possible. You can use Depot Downloader directly with a -filelist or roll your own with one of the SteamKit-based libraries.

I have a Python-based downloading tool built for that purpose using ValvePython/steam.

...downloads go to ...steamcmd\steamapps\content\ -folder tough, I couldn't change downloads path to else :/

Thanks a lot! Tried Depot Downloader out and it works.
I guess this solves the problem.
