This one is based on my library written in HaXe. It does not generate an output compatible with Valve's KeyValues. However it should be able to parse anything that Valve's can.

I've been meaning to add a VDF/KeyValues parser to my wider Steam/Valve Python library, so I quickly wrote one today which is heavily based off of necavi's -- hope you don't mind. The only thing it really adds is coercion to native Python types where possible. Currently that only includes integers and floats.

I definitely don't mind! I haven't wanted to put the time into properly finishing that one. Mine is a pretty direct port of Matheus28's anyway (one that I did at about 5 AM) hence not being very pythonic at all.
